Do I have to use my real name?
No. You don't have to, but most of us do. We just ask for you to choose a realistic surname, as long as it's not already used.
Do I need to have past gaming or realism experience to join?
No. Players of all skill levels and experience are welcome to join the 5th RB. We care more about the attitude and dedication you show. Your Squad Leaders will take care of training you.
Does everyone need to go through Ranger Candidate Training School?
Yes. Every single member of the unit has gone through RCTS – all the way up to the commanders of the 5th RB. However, for returning members who have had previous experience in the 5th RB, we have a "fast-track" program available. Speak with the recruiting office for more information.
What will I learn in Ranger Candidate Training School?
You will learn the basics about realism gaming, the basics of Hell Let Loose and how the 5th Ranger Battalion operates.
How long will it take to get my application processed?
If you fill out all the information asked, as detailed as possible, it will be approved or denied within 48 hours.
Do I have to use my in-game name and tag all the time when playing HLL?
Whilst playing Hell Let Loose or participating in another units Discord server members must always wear the units tags. You are permitted to remove your tags while playing in other games or non Hell Let Loose related discord servers.
